Summer Conference Scholarships
In Spring of each year SWAAAE announces the availability of applications and the start of the solicitation process for several $500 - $1,000 scholarships to attend the Summer Conference. This year the conference will be held in San Diego, CA from July 19 - 22, 2009.

Airport Management Short Course Scholarships
In September of each year SWAAAE announces the availability of applications and the start of the solicitation process for several $500 - $1,000 scholarships to attend the Airport Management Short Course in Monterey, CA. This year the Airport Management Short Course will be held from Jan. 24 - 28, 2009. You must be a member of SWAAAE to apply for this scholarship.
Applications will be released in the Fall.
$1500 Academic Scholarships
In September of each year SWAAAE announces the availability of applications and the start of the solicitation process for two $1,500 Academic Scholarships. The scholarships are presented at the Airport Management Short Course and the student is expected to attend the entire conference and receive their award at the conference awards banquet. An additional $1,000 is provided to offset the cost of travel and hotel expenses associated with attending the conference. Attendance at the AMSC offers an excellent opportunity for students to network with airport management professionals, and has been beneficial to students seeking internships or employment after graduation.
Anyone seriously pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in airport management may apply annually for an academic scholarship. You do not need to be a member of SWAAAE to apply for this scholarship. However, you must attend a college in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah or Hawaii.

$1,000 Professional Accreditation Scholarships
SWAAAE continually accepts applications for Professional Accreditation Scholarships. These scholarships are reviewed and awarded as applications are submitted. Typically there are up to four Professional Accreditation Scholarships awarded each year in the amount of $1,000 each.
You must be a member of SWAAAE and enrolled in the AAAE Professional Accreditation Program or the AAAE Certification Program to apply for this scholarship. Recipients may attend either the AAAE Accreditation Research Paper Workshop or the AAAE Accreditation/Certification Academy Written Exam Review.
